Wood Grain Quilting and The Jelly Roll Race II

I'm Back with another fun project. I don't know if you have ever made a Jelly Roll race quilt but they are super fast and super fun. I was watching the Missouri Star Quilt Company You Tube channel again and happened to see the "Jelly Roll Race II" video and decided to give it a try. You can watch the video here: Jelly Roll Race II  This came together so fast and let me get right down to the quilting. I really love how the wood Grain pantograph quilting turned out. Houndstooth Quilt and a little Craziness

Hello there wow how fast time flies, I have been enjoying the summer weather and working in my yard and Garden as well as quilting up a storm. We had Sue Patten come to the shop where I work and teach a two day machine quilting work shop that was such a blast. I also had the opportunity to take classes from Judi Madsen and Lisa Calle down at HMQS in May. These ladies are so talented as well as excellent teachers. It's totally amazing to me how fast the summer months go. I watched the newer Missouri Star quilt company tutorial on the Houndstooth Quilt and I knew I had to make one of these great quilts for myself. you can watch the tutorial here: Houndstooth tutorial
I have been wanting to make a Neutral quilt for a while and decided that this was the perfect opportunity however this choice made it impossible to find the material  I needed in precuts. I ended up buying 2.5yards of each color and I have to say I absolutely love the way this quilt turned out. I hope you are enjoying the summer months too. I hope to keep you posted on a some quilty goodness along the way it's always a little crazy around here in the summer. The pantograph is "Paradise" Pantograph
