Piecemakers and Patchworks

Wow can you believe that Spring is already here? I can't! This quilt is made from the new line by Kathy Schmitz called Piecemakers. I put this quilt together as a Store sample for Stylish Fabrics and Quilts. There is a plenty of half square triangles in this quilt and so I used Thangles paper to make the assembly process a little faster. I really like the fabric in this line and I didn't want to take away from it so I chose to quilt this quilt with an all over pantograph by Anne Bright called Drop of Paisley you can find it here. Honey Bee Mine Store Sample

Hello all it has been crazy busy around here I can't believe it. I am totally amazed at how much my life has changed since this time last year. I have been sewing and quilting like crazy and loving every minute of it!

I put together a few shop samples and have been working on a Swoon quilt which is turning out awesome! Here is one of the cute baby quilts I put together for the shop the fabric is from the Honey Bee Mine collection from Michael Miller. For the quilting I quilted free motion swirls which is so much fun. Here is a close up of the quilting thanks for stopping by.
