I found these great Valentines day fabrics on clearance and they just had to come home with me. I decided to use my new die for my Accuquilt it is the nine inch wedge and you can find it here. This is just under a twin size quilt I used nine half yards of Valentines prints and one and two thirds yard of white. I quilted this using Merrily Hearts by Anne Bright you can find it here. Here is a close up of the quilting.

A little Americana
Have you seen the new Grant Park line by Minik and Simpson? All I have to say is I love it! It is a great combination of reds and Blues with plenty of patterns to choose from. This Pattern is Rambling Country Rose I made this quilt as a store sample for Stylish Fabrics and Quilts and it was such a fun quilt to make. I took a few chances on the quilting and I love how the bead board border turned out. It really made the quilt for me. Here is a close up of the quilting on the block.

A Sampler Quilt
Have you seen the tutorial for the disappearing four patch floating around? I decided to give it a try and so I put together this little sampler quilt using scraps and my stash. I also wanted to make a coordinating quilt to use with my 2013 block of the month. To make the sixteen patch I used five inch squares pieced them into a four patch and then sliced it rotated the pieces and sewed them back together. I then chose a churn dash pattern and a plain square to make this quilt the size I wanted. I used the same eye feather in the plain blocks as I did in the 2013 block of the month and then a similar arc for the other blocks. Here are some close ups of the quilting I hope you enjoy.
