This was a fun and quick project I decided to make so I could try Y seams. I have wanted to learn how to piece Y seams forever and have never been brave enough to try it. I have watched plenty of videos and read articles on this technique but this was one technique I needed a class for. I had an opportunity though my Quilt Guild to learn how to do this and boy was I amazed at how seeing the demonstration on this technique really took the fear out of it for me. I highly suggest if you want to learn a technique and you are just not sure of what you are doing take a class or ask someone. I decided that I would go ahead and put together these pillow covers to solidify the information that I learned. I went ahead and quilted these on my long arm with Mono poly. Here is a close up of the quilting it is a little hard to see because of the Mono poly but I did a heart on the border and just meandered the center. Thanks for stopping by
