I just finished up this fun quilt using a Robert Kaufman Roll up. I love these 2 1/2" strips what can I say they are so versatile! Without a border a Roll up will give you a great sized throw and with a border it will make a twin size quilt. I took forty of the strips from the roll and sewed them together which gave me a center panel that measured approx. 80" long and 45" wide I then added a 5" border to the top and bottom and a 8" border to each side making the quilt 60x90 you could add an inner border to increase the size. This size does cover a twin size bed but there is not a lot of drape over the edges. I wanted to be able to use a piece of Minky for the back without having to seam it. This is a great size for bunk beds. Here is a close up of the quilting:
I used Split Paint by Anne Bright to quilt this click on the name to find it.
