This is the block of the month that we did last year in quilt guild. I wanted to make it a little larger than a wall hanging so I added alternative (12.5") block which also gave me a chance for some quilting fun. I think I saw this feather type design somewhere and have kind of tweaked it to be my own. I just simply quilted a loop in the blocks as to not detract from them also I wanted this quilt to be a comfortable and useable throw so I kept the quilting to a minimum.
