This project was so much fun! I asked my husband what quilt he would want me to make if there was one. The answer: A Dresden fan quilt like the one he remembers on his parents bed from his childhood. So naturally I asked my mother in law where the quilt was and she explained she has it put away because after much love the quilt was showing some wear and tear and all the quilting thread was gone. Luckily for me after I explained what I was up to she pulled the quilt out and let me take pictures of it so I could replicate it.
